THE
FARM HOUSE
Get acquainted
with Cypriot tradition and visit the farmhouse in the Monastery
Square. Built of mud-bricks, featured traditional Cypriot arches
and a large verandah at the front, the spacious double rooms are
furnished as in the past, with furniture, tools and utensils including
a loom to weave clothes in the corner.
Outside there
is a tread-wheel that was used for water and the plough. There is
also a traditional oven with woods which is used during festivities
for baking tradition bread and sweets.
The Farm House symbolises the nostalgic rural traditions of Agia
Napa's past in authentic reconstruction.

CAPE
GRECO
Cape Greco is
another distinctive part of Agia Napa, which adds to the magnificent
of the scenery. It's worth taking a day away from the beach to go
for a exhilarating adventure walk around Cape Greco. Cycle, bike,
and walk along the trail that winds around juniper bushes and beautiful
flora amidst miniature pine trees.
Cut away into
ten meters sea cliffs are caves, which nature has adorned with palatial
trimmings. Benches provide the opportunity to rest and gaze down
into crystal clear waters. For those more ambitious, there is a
further 100 meters climb that leads to the central depression. Excavations
in 1992 revealed evidence that this site was one of the earliest
Neolithic settlements on the island.

The
Flora of Cape Greco
Aside from the
imposing natural beauty of Cape Greco's mountain sea cliffs and
winding paths, the indigenous flora of this area is equally impressive.
Here, all the year round you can find unique plants and flowers
with lovely aromas. Some of these species are growing nowhere in
the world but in Cyprus. Cape Greco is one of the few botanical
paradise corners and is an absolutely glorious place to explore,
either by scientists or amateur observers.
Birdwatchers
will also appreciate the hundreds of species of birds that migrate
to the island and can be found around Cape Greco.

SEA
PALACES
Between Limnara
beach and Cape Greco stand the palaces. There are no specific structures,
but they are famed for their admirable formations on the rocks.
The sea - sculptured beach rocks, give the impression of a fine
work of architecture. The reflected light, together with the crystal
waters form a dreamy picture.

THE
HARBOUR
The newly renovated
fishing harbour is one of the landmarks of Agia Napa. The harbour,
picturesque and colourful, is a unique place to visit for a nice
walk, all day long, with the hotels and the fish tavernas reflecting
in the clear crystal waters in the day and the lights along the
beach in the night. The fishing shelter with the fishing boats mixing
with mini cruises boats, offer another unique picture one can find
nowhere else in Cyprus.
With the two
squares available for festivities and incentive activities, the
Agia Napa's harbour will add another dimension to the area, which
is the alternative choice of the colourful center with the clubs
and pubs.
